SANS WASTE: The Font That Does More With Less

It seems everyone’s solution to saving the planet is to make more stuff. Tote bags, wooden spoons, paper straws. You name it.

But for Earth Day, we wanted to create something for INNOCEAN Canada that people actually wanted to use - or better yet, didn’t even know they were using.

Introducing Sans Waste: a font designed to use 48% less ink on paper and fewer pixels in dark mode. Made with the agency’s wave-cut design and thoughtful benefits of ink bleed, the typeface proves you can take up less space without losing clarity. Or impact.

We shared it across the INNOCEAN global network, with support for 95+ Latin-based languages.

Proving something as small as a wave can make a big impact.
